Why do we end up with legacy support issues? Quite often as successful products age, it is not cost effective or desirable to replace all in field units and systems end up evolving over time.
Some of our customers have been trading for many years. They have solutions deployed over a range of different platforms and Operating Systems and it is important that new innovations remain backward compatible and that older systems can still communicate back to base.
In many cases, when looking at an overall system solution, building in an in-field upgrade option is an ideal solution if it is feasible, rather than have to return units to base.
With 2G mobile infrastructure being turned off in USA and Australia, older appliances may need upgrading with modern 4G/5G capable modems or GSM modules.
Windows Applications
Although it is more common to deliver end user applications as Web Solutions these days, if needed Helda can develop standalone Windows applications to support your industrial control, acquisition needs. We can leverage all of our cloud and electronics expertise to build application software to meet your requirements, such as end of line production test applications.
We commonly develop our own in house stand alone Windows applications to design prove and document compliance customer acceptance criteria.
We have up to date versions of Visual Studio (C++, Java, Python) as well as Delphi capability.
